Yiiiiiiss! Neutrotypicals don't realise if an aspie have good to okay social skills us because we probably studied body language and social interactions AT HOME. Like one of the (audio) books is also teaching me similar things! #Repost @the.autisticats (@get_repost) ・・・ I hear this relatively often, (when I actually tell people I'm autistic) and I find it quite frusterating when I'm told I don't "look" or "seem" autistic. I personally stim in public, but this post does point out the struggle to appear more "normal" or not attract unwanted attention because of stimming.
